Riders for Health
Riders for Health are a fantastic charity that operates in the poorest of African communities. The charity provides training, staff and the motorbikes needed to reach some of the most remote communities that are unable to be reached by car or lorry, in order to provide them with professional health services. David is wanting to raise money in order for them to open a new centre in Harare, in the desperately poor Zimbabwe as well as a fleet of motorbikes and trained staff that will ride out all over the country providing medical supplies to those in need.

BASIC (Brain And Spinal Injuries Centre)
BASIC is a charity close to David’s heart and indeed his head offices in Altrincham, as the charity is based in Salford just down the road. This wonderful charity provides much needed practical support to families who are left to deal with the consequences of brain and spinal injuries, after medical treatment has ended. David is well aware of the number of Carole Nash customers who are tragically left in need of BASIC’s support following road accidents, which are rarely the rider’s fault. David is aiming to raise money for BASIC to be able to build a specialist gymnasium to help people get back on their feet after an injury.
